Nutrition on your recipes

Recipes can now hold nutrition info: calories, protein, carbs, fat, and a few more details per serving.

You can type the numbers yourself when you already know them, or leave them blank. On a recipe page, nutrition shows up near the servings controls while you cook, so you can glance at it without leaving the steps.

Nothing here is required. If a recipe has no nutrition yet, Cookbook just says so and stays out of the way.

Estimate nutrition with AI

If you'd rather not dig through labels, open a recipe and tap Estimate Nutrition. AI looks at the ingredients and servings, then drafts the numbers for you.

You always get a review step. Keep what looks right, or skip it. Same rule as the rest of Lyfify: AI only runs when you ask, and you decide what gets saved.

These estimates are approximate. They're meant as a starting point. It's far from perfectly accurate, but it gives you a rough idea. Double-check anything that matters before you rely on it.

Adapt a recipe when life changes

Some nights you need less salt, more protein, or a dairy-free version of something you already love. Adapt Recipe is for that.

Open a recipe, tap Adapt Recipe, say what you want changed, and AI proposes edits. You see the plan and the changes before anything sticks. Undo is there if a tweak goes too far.

It edits the recipe sitting in your library. Same dish, adjusted for what you need right now.

Picked for You got better

Discover still has a daily spotlight and the kitchen feed. The Picked for You row is what got the upgrade.

It now pays more attention to how you cook: tags you keep coming back to, your favorited recipes, what you've been planning or interested in lately, time of day, and more.

You’ll also see a bit more variety. The row mixes familiar matches with a couple of stretch picks, so you’re not stuck in the same three dinners.

Star a few recipes you actually make. That helps Picked for You more than anything else.
